Collector car auction coming to State Farm Stadium in March

PHOENIX — Those in the market for a lavish car will have a chance to bid on over 1,200 vehicles featured in the third annual Mecum Auctions at State Farm Stadium in Glendale next month.
The auction, taking place March 18-20, will be headlined by the collection of Steve Todhunter, comprising of over 20 cars ranging from seven pristine Ferraris to a 1965 Shelby 427 Cobra FAM previously owned by the late Fast and Furious actor Paul Walker, according to a press release.
Bidder registration is available online and on-site at the auction for $200. The price includes admission for two people to all three auction days. Gates open at 8 a.m. with the auction starting at 10 a.m. each day.
Remote bidding is available for those unable to attend, with options for both online and telephone bidding.

Todhunter’s Ferraris up for auction in the show include: a 2011 599 GTO, a 2018 812 Superfast, a 2009 F430 Scuderia Spyder 16M, a 2016 Ferrari F12tdf, a Cavallino Classic-winning 1992 Ferrari 512 TR, a 2005 Ferrari 575M Superamerica with Ferrari Classiche Red Book and a 2001 Ferrari 550 Barchetta Pininfarina, according to the release.
Other unique offerings available are a purpose-built 2006 Saleen S7 Twin Turbo (one of just 14 produced), a 1969 Dodge Daytona and a pair of 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 429 Fastbacks.
A handful of modern muscle cars and a selection of Triumph and BSA-brand antique motorcycles will also be up for auction, according to the release.
