The daughter of Arizona Sen. John McCain is questioning why the media has not jumped on President Barack Obama for his “bump in the road” comment concerning the murder of a U.S. ambassador.
“I think the media coverage in this election cycle is just grotesque,” Meghan McCain told News/Talk 92.3 KTAR’s Mac & Gaydos on Tuesday.
McCain said that Obama’s “bump in the road” comment on 60 Minutes while discussing the death of Chris Stevens, who was murdered by Islamic extremists, was out of touch and the press should have been all over him.
“I’m outraged,” she said. “My father was good friends with Chris Stevens and I’m outraged there isn’t more concern.”
