Man charged with manslaughter after fatal Scottsdale collision

PHOENIX — A 27-year-old man was arrested following a fatal collision in Scottsdale, authorities said Monday.
Chaz Malcolm was charged with manslaughter and endangerment after his vehicle, traveling southbound on Scottsdale Road, struck a vehicle making a left turn on Chaparral Road at about 9:45 p.m. Sunday, Scottsdale police said.
The two men in the other vehicle were seriously injured and taken to a local hospital.
One of the men has died as a result of the injuries, according to Scottsdale police.
Impairment is a factor in the incident, police said.
No other information was immediately available.
