Arizonans tend to shop at and support small businesses regularly, according to a recent survey.
Eighty-eight percent of Arizona citizens spend money at a small business once a week and 64 percent frequent these businesses at least twice weekly, Cox Business reported.
Most Arizonans said they feel it is important to shop locally and say they experience greater customer service at small businesses.
Local First Arizona, the largest local business support organization in the nation, has began campaigning more vocally throughout the years to get consumers to shop local.
Cox surveyed more than 1,300 consumers in Arizona, California, Louisiana, Nebraska, Nevada, Oklahoma, Rhode Island and Virginia to collect their data.
