Truck fire closes Interstate 17 north of Phoenix

PHOENIX — A burning truck closed Interstate 17 north of the Phoenix metro area on Monday, the Arizona Department of Transportation said.

The freeway was closed at milepost 232, north of the Anthem area. The left lane was opened about 1:30 p.m.

There was no timetable to reopen the right lane.
