PHOENIX — A closure on a portion of Loop 101 in the northeast Valley and a restriction on Interstate 10 near Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport are the only obstacles drivers will face this weekend, the Arizona Department of Transportation announced Thursday.
Westbound Loop 101 will be closed between Pima Road and 56th Street from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for pavement diamond grinding as a widening project continues.
The northbound and westbound Loop 101 on-ramps at Raintree Drive and Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard will also be closed.
