PHOENIX — Dog Haus, known for its gourmet hot dogs, sausages, hamburgers, fried chicken and local craft beers, will open its new location at Watermark Tempe on Feb. 20, according to a press release.
“We couldn’t be more excited to bring Dog Haus’ one-of-a-kind creations to Tempe,” Franchisee Jeron Boemer said in the release.
“Our incredible team is looking forward to welcoming the community in and serving our signature menu to fans and newbies alike.”
The new location, by Scottsdale Road and the Loop 202, marks the chain’s fifth restaurant in the Valley.
Hours of operation are Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to midnight.
Dog Haus Biergarten is celebrating the grand opening by donating 20% of sales on Feb. 20 and 21 to the Tempe Diablos, a local organization that provides scholarships and grants to benefit the city’s youth.
The restaurant is requiring guests to wear a mask when not seated, according to the release, and capacity is capped at 50% with tables spaced apart in observance of COVID-19 protocols.
Along with its signature items, the Dog Haus menu also features tots, onion rings, chili, fries, sweet potato fries and ice cream.
A full bar with 24 beer choices, wine and a mixologist-driven cocktail menu are also available.
The first Arizona location opened in Yuma in 2015. The company launched its first restaurant in Pasadena, Calif., in 2010.
