Second trailer released for ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’

Apr 16, 2015, 6:42 PM | Updated: 7:04 pm

A second trailer was released Thursday for the newest “Star Wars” film, “The Force Awakens.”

The trailer confirmed what many already knew: Members of the original cast, including Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker and Harrison Ford as Han Solo (who you actually get to see), will be in the film.

The footage included several battle scenes that will get fans hopped up for the film’s Christmas release, but more than likely, fan squealing will reach a crescendo with a possible spoiler.

There is a moment when Hamill discusses the strength of the Force in his family. He says, “My father has it,” possibly implying his father, Darth Vader, is alive. We’ll have to wait and see!
