PHOENIX — Phoenix is the 32nd most walkable large city in the nation, according to the walkability services website WalkScore.com.
Phoenix was given a walk score of 38, falling under the car dependent category on the website. This means that most errands require a car.
As for bikeability, Phoenix fell under the bikeable category with a score of 52. There was no score given for public transit.
Scores were ranked based on walkability to nearby amenities from various addresses. The shorter the walk, the more points awarded.
