PHOENIX — Two men found dead with gunshot wounds in a car Sunday morning were brothers, authorities said Monday.

Layton Eskeets, 21, is accused of shooting his 17-year-old brother before turning the gun on himself following an argument.

Chandler police officers responded to an apartment complex near McQueen and Germann roads around 10 a.m. Sunday for a welfare check and found the men in the car.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Chandler Police Department at (480) 782-4130 and people can remain anonymous.

No additional information was immediately available.
