Silver Alert canceled after woman missing from West Valley found safe

PHOENIX — A Silver Alert was canceled Friday after a 76-year-old woman last seen in Litchfield Park on Wednesday was found safe halfway across the country, according to authorities.
Gloria Woods was last seen just before 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday sitting in the garage of the family’s residence near the intersection of Glendale Avenue and Dysart Road.
The family noticed around 5 p.m. that Woods had left on foot in an unknown direction.
The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office said in a release Friday Woods was located safe in Cleveland and is with family.
It is believed Woods is possibly undiagnosed with Dementia.
