Police investigating shooting after man found dead in Phoenix

PHOENIX — One man is dead following a shooting in Phoenix on Wednesday night, authorities said.

Officials say police responded to a shooting call near 23rd and Dunlap avenues around 8:40 p.m.

When officers arrived, they found one man with a gunshot wound. Ryan Schwab, 42, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.

No further information has been released.
