If you’re a fan of George Clooney, Matt Damon and artwork, you’re going to love “The Monuments Men.” The first trailer premiered on Thursday and brings viewers on a daring journey of art and war.

The Clooney directed film is based on the book “The Monuments Men: Allied Heroes, Nazi Thieves and the Greatest Treasure Hunt in History” by Robert M. Edsel.

Trailer Addict describes the storyline as, “A crew of art historians and museum curators who unite to recover renowned works of art stolen by Nazis before Hitler destroys them.”

The film co-stars Cate Blanchett, Bill Murray, Jean Dujardin and John Goodman.

The adventure begins when “The Monuments Men” debuts in theaters on Dec. 18.
