Ellen Degeneres gives Abercrombie & Fitch CEO the smackdown

It just keeps getting worse for Mike Jeffries — the Abercrombie & Fitch CEO whose detestable company policies towards “plus sized” customers turned into a flood of social media backlash.
Ellen Degeneres was next up to bat, and she hit a home run.
On “The Ellen Show,” and later posted to YouTube, she brilliantly gave Jeffries a piece of her mind.
“Beauty is not between a size 0 and a size 8. It is not a number at all,” said Ellen. “What you look like on the outside is not what makes you cool. I had a mullet and parachute pants and I’m doing OK.”
Jeffries responded to his critics in a Facebook note stating, “While I believe this 7 year old, resurrected quote has been taken out of context, I sincerely regret that my choice of words was interpreted in a manner that has caused offense.”
