PHOENIX — A popular Valley breakfast spot is opening a new location in downtown Phoenix this spring, the company said Thursday.
Morning Squeeze will open on the northwest corner of 1st and Washington streets, bringing its modern breakfast fare to the downtown scene.
The new site will be open daily 7 a.m. – 2 p.m.
“Morning Squeeze started as a neighborhood hang out. That place where you could share some amazing eats and classic cocktails, people watch and run into friends,” Marketing Manager Shea Neill said in a press release.
“You can’t cookie-cutter that vibe. So we really look to the community to see what they want and need to start their days.”
The restaurant will feature a bright, 1970s theme, with an indoor/outdoor bar, a wrap-around dog friendly patio and a custom mural by local artist Jayarr Steiner.
The menu includes classic breakfast favorites like eggs benedict and biscuits and gravy, as well as modern choices such as breakfast tacos, specialty bowls and salads. There’s also a “Tail Wagger” menu for your furry friends.
Morning Squeeze opened its first location in Scottsdale (Scottsdale Road and 4th Street) in 2013, followed by Tempe (Mill Avenue and 7th Street) in 2018.
An exact date for the opening hasn’t been announced.
