Update: The Amber Alert was canceled around midnight Wednesday. The children were found safe.
PHOENIX — An Amber Alert was issued Wednesday after four children went missing from a city about 65 miles south of Phoenix, authorities said.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety issued the alert after it said the mother of the children, Melanie Watson, failed to comply with a court order regarding their custody.
It is believed the four children — 15-year-old Desire Watson, 13-year-old DeAndre Davis, and 10-year-olds Michael and Matthew Davis — could be in danger after going missing in Eloy.
All four children have brown hair and black eyes.
Melanie Watson was last seen driving a black 2020 Chevrolet Malibu with temporary license plate 103712B.
Anyone with information about the whereabouts of the children are asked to contact 911, the Eloy Police Department at 520-464-3465 or by email.
