Silver Alert canceled for missing 30-year-old Waddell man with autism

PHOENIX – A Silver Alert was canceled Sunday afternoon for a missing 30-year-old man in Waddell with autism and a severe anxiety disorder, according to authorities.

Ian Lawrence Paul was located by Mesa police and was okay, according to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office.

The alert was issued after staff at a care facility discovered he was missing around 7:30 a.m. on Sunday.

Paul is described as a white male with brown hair and brown eyes. He is 5-foot-8 and weighs 125 pounds.

He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, tan button-up shirt and khaki shorts.

Paul is believed to be traveling on foot and has no family or friends in the immediate area.
