PHOENIX — The World of Illumination holiday drive-thru experience has donated $25,000 in ticket sales to Arizona’s chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
“It’s so important for us as a Valley business to give back to the community that has done so much for us,” World of Illumination co-founder Simon Kreisberger said in a press release. “It is a privilege to be in a position to impact our state in a positive way.”
World of Illumination has donated to Make-A-Wish in the past, but this year included a partnership with Subaru to donate a portion of every Wednesday’s ticket sales to grant specific wishes for Arizona wish kids.
Additionally, hundreds of free tickets were provided to Arizona first responders, front-line workers and a foundation benefitting foster children.
World of Illumination is the world’s largest drive-thru animated light show of the holiday season, with two Arizona locations at Glendale’s Westgate Entertainment District and Tempe Diablo Stadium.
The shows, which run through Jan. 3, have millions of RGB LED lights synchronized to popular holiday music, a 3D component and fake snow.
