PHOENIX — Living in the Valley of the Sun, residents don’t get to enjoy a White Christmas.
Tempe Marketplace and Desert Ridge Marketplace in Phoenix are providing that experience, without the frigid temperatures, for shoppers on Christmas Eve along with other holiday activities.
Snow will fall at both shopping centers every hour from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday near the holiday tree and Dave and Buster’s at Tempe Marketplace and by the AMC Theatres at Desert Ridge Marketplace, according to a press release on Wednesday,
A 40-foot-long star-shaped tunnel will also be available nearby at both shopping centers for people to enjoy, providing a great opportunity to take that perfect holiday photo.
Shoppers at Tempe Marketplace, meanwhile, will be able to travel down candy cane lane with nearly 100 gigantic holiday treats like gumdrops, chocolate, gingerbread men, candy canes and marshmallows aligning the colorful stretch.
The holiday attractions take place through Dec. 31, with nightly snowfall outside of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day taking place every night at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m.
