Cruise the ZooLights at Phoenix Zoo adds additional late night spots

PHOENIX – The Phoenix Zoo is opening up additional spots on previously sold out nights of Cruise the ZooLights for those who are looking to roll through the holiday attraction later in the evening.
The zoo found it was able to get through all cars that had showed up by 8:45 p.m. so it decided to open up around 100 additional spots for each sold out night, according to a press release.
Those who purchase the added spots will be able to enter ZooLights from 9 to 9:30 p.m.
Tickets for both the cruise and walk-thru options must be purchased online in advance.
Guests attending ZooLights on foot or by car will see millions of twinkling lights, a three-story lighted tree and the new Wildlife Lantern Safari, which features 66 glowing creatures.
The popular holiday event runs nightly through Jan. 31 from 5:30 to 10:30 p.m.
The zoo is urging those who are visiting via the walk-thru option to arrive early or after 8 p.m. because it expects to reach capacity on those nights.
