PHOENIX – Thanksgiving weekend DUI arrests were up in Arizona compared to 2019, according to statistics released Monday from the Arizona Governor’s Office of Highway Safety.
There were 358 people arrested on suspicion of DUI from Wednesday to Saturday of the holiday weekend. That number is up from 330 arrests made last year during the same period.

Law enforcement conducted a total of 9,407 total traffic stops, down from 10,507 last year.
About 2,400 law enforcement officials were part of the task forces, consistent with totals from years past.
