PHOENIX – Tempe-based online car seller Carvana is hiring nearly 300 full-time workers who will be based at home for now.

The hourly jobs in customer care entail guiding buyers through the process and offers full benefits and auto discounts, the company said Wednesday.

Keeping coronavirus safety protocols in mind, interviews will be conducted virtually and subsequent training will be available online, the used-car company said.

Eventually, customer care staff will return to the corporate office, a spokesperson said.

The role requires the applicant have a high school diploma or GED but a Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred. The candidate must have internet access and be able to work one weekend shift.

Applicants can upload resumes and apply online.

Carvana made a name for itself with the novel approach to showcase its vehicles in an enormous vending machine.

Shoppers can test-drive cars for seven days after purchase.

We want to hear from you.
