Crash closes northbound Loop 101 in Chandler during rush hour

PHOENIX — A crash closed the northbound Loop 101 Price Freeway in Chandler during rush hour on Tuesday.

The freeway was closed near Chandler Boulevard at about 3:45 p.m., according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

Motorists on Loop 202 attempting to get to northbound Loop 101 were temporarily unable to do so because of the crash.

The freeway reopened around 8 p.m., according to ADOT.
