Alaska Airlines celebrated its new partnership with Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute by having the largest flying fish.
According to Alaska Airlines, the Salmon-Thirty-Salmon has a salmon design that stretches to nearly 129 feet and has about 3,500 fish scales, which makes the painting three dimensional.
The airline flew about 24 million pounds of seafood last year from Alaska to United States markets, Canada and Mexico. According to ASMI, nearly half of the United States’ seafood comes from Alaska fisheries.
