PHOENIX — Two new Sprouts Farmers Market stores are coming to Arizona in 2021.
The Valley-based grocery chain will be the anchor for two shopping developments in Phoenix and Maricopa.
According to leasing documents, Sprouts will be taking over a space in the Deer Valley Center next to Arizona State’s West campus.
The grocery store will join Goodwill, VASA Fitness and Starbucks as the main tenants in the shopping center.
Deer Valley Center, a 19-acre retail complex located at the southeast corner of 43rd Avenue and Thunderbird Road, is undergoing major renovations and expected to be completed in 2021.
Sprouts will also be opening in the new Sonoran Creek Marketplace in Maricopa, according to site plans for the future shopping space.
The grocery store is under construction and expected to be around 20,000-square-feet, based on the site plan.
The 19-acre Sonoran Creek Marketplace is located on the southwest corner of Arizona State Route 347 and Edison Road. Other tenants in the marketplace include State Farm Insurance, Jimmy John’s, Filiberto’s Mexican Food and The Joint Chiropractic.
Both Sprouts stores are expected to open their doors in late 2021.
