Five Below to open new store at Lake Pleasant Towne Center in Peoria

PHOENIX — Discount retail giant Five Below is adding another location in the West Valley at the Lake Pleasant Town Center in Peoria.
The location, opening in the spring of 2021, marks the first store in Peoria.
Five Below has 11 other stores around the Valley, including five in Phoenix, but only one store in the West Valley prior to the announcement of the new location.
Known for its $5-and-less fun, the youth-oriented retailer offers toys and games, tech, books, candy, seasonal items and much more along with popular brands like Lego, Disney, Nickelodeon, Marvel and Crayola.
“Five Below is all about putting an emphasis on experience-driven retail, and we look forward to adding their upbeat, anything-goes environment to our lineup of family-friendly tenants at Lake Pleasant Towne Center,” Vice President of Leasing Angie Kory said in a press release.
Five Below joins more than 50 other retailers on the 609,000 square-foot property at the shopping center near the intersection Lake Pleasant Parkway and Happy Valley Road.
Founded in 2002, Five Below opened its first Arizona location in 2019 at Tempe Marketplace. The retailer has over 1,000 stores in 38 states.
