PHOENIX — Phoenix police on Thursday released a sketch of a suspect possibly connected to the suspicious death of a 78-year-old woman.

Police responded Wednesday to the intersection of Bell Road and 29th Street in Phoenix just before 1:30 p.m. and found Marilyn Grace Staudt dead in her mobile home.

It appeared the woman had been dead for several days and that her home had been ransacked.

The suspect in the sketch is described as a male between the ages of 20 and 30, standing 5-foot-9 and weighing 150 pounds with brown hair and stubble on his face.

He was seen leaving the home around the same time the woman was last seen alive, according to police, wearing khaki pants, a hooded sweater and a pink backpack.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the Phoenix Police Department at 602-262-6141.

No additional information was provided.
