PHOENIX – President Donald Trump will return to Arizona for another visit before Election Day, a senior campaign adviser said Friday.
It will be Trump’s seventh trip to the Grand Canyon State.
Steve Cortes did not give a specific place or date for the visit.
“Arizona is such an incredibly important state to the president,” Cortes told KTAR News 92.3 FM. I can’t give exact details, but I can promise you that, yes, he’ll be back.”
The president was in Arizona on Monday, stopping in Prescott and Tucson. Both rallies were held at airports.
The president’s campaign has been active in Arizona, a key battleground state in the Nov. 3 election.
Vice President Mike Pence has made multiple appearances on the president’s behalf as have Trump’s older children.
Democratic nominee Joe Biden and running mate Sen. Kamala Harris visited Tempe two weeks ago.
Trump has been trailing Biden in recent polling.
The Republican defeated Hillary Clinton in Arizona by 3.5 percentage points in 2016.
