PHOENIX — Weekend drivers in Phoenix will have to navigate closures on State Route 51, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

Northbound SR 51 will be closed between the mini-stack and Loop 101 from 11 p.m. Saturday to 7 p.m. Sunday for pavement sealing as well.

Crews will reopen the closed sections of the freeway as they complete their work.
