PHOENIX — An internet outage left metro Phoenix residents without access to the web on Tuesday morning.

Just after 10 a.m., those who have CenturyLink as an internet provider were left without a connection to the interweb.

Residents living in Mesa, Scottsdale, Gilbert, Tempe, Queen Creek, Avondale and Tuba City were the most affected, according to an internet outage tracker.

As of 11 a.m. and based on 120 probes, the tracker said 40.3% of subscribers had been impacted, which makes up for 3.7% of Arizona.

The cause of the internet outage and how long it would last was not made immediately available.
