PHOENIX — In a survey of dog owners in 10 different U.S. cities, Phoenix came in second place for having the most sociable dog owners.

The survey was designed by Rover.com to examine personality traits among dog owners in Austin, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Portland and San Francisco.

According to the survey, 73% of Phoenix dog owners say they are likely to chat with other dog owners while taking their dog on a walk. Another 52% of those surveyed said they were likely to make friends with fellow dog owners.

Phoenix was ranked behind Boston, which came in at No. 1 in the most sociable category.

Despite Phoenix earning a high ranking in the sociable category, they did not score as well in the most active or most indulgent categories, where they finished ninth in each.

The city finished in the middle of the pack at No. 4 in most obsessed and No. 5 in most eco-friendly.

Other category winners included Denver (most active), Chicago (most indulgent), San Francisco (most obsessed) and Los Angeles (most eco-friendly).

We want to hear from you.
