Scottsdale mansion hits market with potentially record-breaking price tag

PHOENIX — There’s a new challenger to Arizona’s recently crowned king of most expensive homes.

The potential record-breaker is a six-bed, seven-bath mansion built in 2017 that covers 15,000 square feet and is nestled into the foothills of the McDowell Mountains in northeast Scottsdale.

The estate is listed at $27.5 million, above the state record $24.1 million fetched earlier this month by a property in the same exclusive Scottsdale community.

The Dale Gardon-designed home is located in the upper canyon of the Silverleaf neighborhood, with French limestone and oak flooring throughout.

The property features a gym to go along with an air-conditioned six-car garage and a fully furnished guesthouse.

The outdoor space includes a full diving pool, spa, fire pit and outdoor kitchen. The property was listed on Oct. 6.

The top two sale prices in Arizona history were in the Silverleaf neighborhood, including an $18.8 million purchase in 2018 that held the record until 2020.

We want to hear from you.
