PHOENIX — Perspective home buyers will be able to get a look at the largest masterplan development in the Valley since 2013 from the safety and comfort of their own car when Alamar in Avondale opens this weekend for a drive-thru tour.

The radio-guided tours take place Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Visitors will be able to explore the entire 1,127-acre property located near Avondale Boulevard and Broadway Road, according to a press release.

The developers said in the release visitors can also tour model homes as long as social distancing and local health guidelines are followed.

Prices of the homes range from the low $200,000s to the high $400,000s, according to the website, and offer properties from just around 1,700 square feet to just over 3,500 square feet.

The community, which broke ground in April 2019, will feature 3,695 homes once completed with a 41-acre regional park co-developed with the city of Avondale and an elementary school.

The best time to tour the new community is 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., according to the release.

The tour also includes a look at the community’s art features, such as sculptures, pavement art and interactive works that double as play spaces, according to the release.

We want to hear from you.
