PHOENIX — For those who want a say in the upcoming elections, there is one final day to ensure you will be allowed to vote.

Monday is the deadline to register to vote for the 2020 election for the presidential, Senate and other races that will take place on Nov. 3.

“Once your voter registration is current, you should start making your voting plan,” Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs, the state’s top elections official, said in a press release.

“Arizona has many options for participating, including voting early by mail or in person, using a secure drop box, or voting on Election Day. But please remember, you must be registered to vote by Oct. 5 to qualify for the 2020 General Election.”

There are a few different ways that Arizona residents can register.

Voters can register online at ServiceArizona.com or Arizona.Vote, or in person at the county recorder’s office.

To register to vote, you must be a United States citizen, an Arizona resident at least 29 days prior to the election, 18 years or older by election day and not have been convicted of a felony or treason, unless your rights have been restored.

Early voting begins Oct. 7 and the final day to request mail-in ballot is Oct. 23.

We want to hear from you.
