PHOENIX – The Trump reelection campaign has ramped up visits to Arizona in the past few weeks, as the fight for votes in the battleground state carries on.

Last week, President Donald Trump made his fifth visit to the Grand Canyon state this year, followed by stops from daughter and senior presidential adviser Ivanka Trump and Vice President Mike Pence and wife Karen. This week, his two oldest sons are the latest to call upon the state.

“If you want somebody’s vote, work for it,” Eric Trump said Wednesday on KTAR News 92.3 FM’s The Mike Broomhead Show.

Eric Trump is scheduled to speak in at a Latinos for Trump rally in Phoenix later in the day. His brother Donald Trump Jr. appeared at a Students for Trump event Tuesday in Chandler.

The Biden campaign has not held any in-person campaign events in the state, but running mate Kamala Harris and the former vice president’s wife, Dr. Jill Biden, have made virtual visits, connecting with Latino business owners and phone bank operators, respectively.

Joe Biden said back in August that he planned to visit Arizona after Labor Day, but no further details were revealed.

Eric Trump said getting out into the states is what makes the campaign stick out.

“We’re an incredibly hard working family,” he said. “It’s why we won in 2016. We hopped on the road, we went everywhere, we spoke from the heart and there’s tremendous enthusiasm.”

A Washington Post/ABC News poll released Wednesday morning shows that among likely voters in Arizona, 49% plan to vote for the president, while 48% responded they will vote for Biden.
