MCSO deputy charged with stalking, threatening Tempe police employees

PHOENIX – A deputy with the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office was arrested Thursday for stalking city of Tempe employees, including police staff.
U.S. Marshals and Tempe police took Salvador Cuevas into custody in Maricopa. He was also booked into Pinal County Jail on domestic violence charges.
City officials said in a press release Cuevas had been under investigation after a city employee reported receiving continual violent threats from him and fearing for the safety and themself and others.
Gilbert Police assisted in the investigation and could file charges against Cuevas as well.
No other details were immediately available.
