Police: 19-year-old man arrested in deadly Phoenix shooting

PHOENIX — The Phoenix Police Department announced a suspect was arrested Saturday after a man was shot and killed Wednesday afternoon in Phoenix.
Police arrested 19-year-old Terrance Taylor just after 6 p.m. on Saturday on 1st-degree murder charges in the death of 35-year-old Jose Lopez, according to authorities.
Lopez was found with a gunshot wound in a parking lot just after 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday near the intersection of Indian School Road and 67th Avenue.
Phoenix Fire Department personnel pronounced Lopez dead at the scene.
No other information was made immediately available.
The investigation is ongoing.
