PHOENIX — A Silver Alert has been canceled for a 75-year-old woman in Surprise, the Department of Public Safety announced Thursday night.
The cancellation came about an hour and a half after the Surprise Police Department reported it.
Gloria Lewis, described as a 5-foot-3, 140-pound Black woman with black hair and brown eyes, had last been seen Thursday in a neighborhood just north of Bell Road about a mile west of 175th Avenue off the Loop 303.
She was driving a red 2013 Ford Edge with the Arizona license plate CRY18.
At the time, she was wearing a pink top with slacks.
Lewis suffers from dementia.
She was returned home and the Silver Alert was canceled shortly after 9 p.m.
