MCSO announces 10 most-wanted suspects, financial rewards for capture

PHOENIX — The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office has identified 10 most-wanted suspects and the financial rewards available to those whose information contributes to their capture.

During press conference, Maricopa County Sheriff Paul Penzone also made public the suspects’ alleged criminal activity:

• $10,000 reward for Juan Garcia-Diaz — wanted on suspicion of murder in the second degree
• $10,000 reward for Melkyseddek Munoz-Garcia — wanted on suspicion of homicide
• $5,000 reward for Wade Astle — wanted on suspicion of 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor
• $5,000 reward for Arthur Lien — wanted on suspicion of six counts of molestation of a child
• $5,000 reward for Ali Sabah — wanted on suspicion of kidnapping, sexual abuse
• $5,000 reward for Sandra Jessica Acuna — wanted on suspicion of six counts of child abuse
• $5,000 reward for Kyle Anders Thompson — wanted on suspicion of three counts of molestation of a child, three counts of sexual conduct with a minor, two counts of attempt to commit molestation of a child, one count of luring a minor for sexual exploitation and one count of aggravated assault
• $2,000 reward for Gina Marie Rayner — wanted on suspicion of probation violation, attempt to commit child abuse and public sexual indecency
• $2,000 reward for Daniel Morgan — wanted on suspicion of failing to register as a sex offender, probation violation and sexual assault
• $2,000 reward for Alonzo Stevenson — wanted on suspicion of armed robbery and sexual assault

“We have been working in partnership with Silent Witness to try to determine if we could pursue and acquire private funding … private donors who would contribute so that we could have a most-wanted program targeting the people we believe we could identify and locate if we could solicit tips from the community,” Penzone said.

“We have acquired $100,000 that we will be utilizing for what are going to be the top 20 or top 25 fugitives.”

The suspects are currently being tracked by MCSO’s Fugitive Apprehension Tactical Enforcement Unit, Penzone said.

The FATE unit works in partnership with the Federal Bureau of Investigation to pursue suspects considered dangerous and has apprehended 614 individuals since its inception in 2017.

“A program like this can only be successful if the community chooses to be our partner to help us,” Penzone said.
