Tornado reportedly touches down in northern Arizona

PHOENIX – A tornado touched down in northern Arizona on Friday morning, weather officials said.
The National Weather Service in Las Vegas said there were confirmed reports of a twister about 10 miles east of Kingman at around 11 a.m.

It was moving northeast at about 10 mph, the service said.
A tornado warning was in effect until 11:30 a.m. in a lightly populated Mohave County area north of Interstate 40.
No other details were immediately available.
