Arizona AG’s office unveils web page to report election-related concerns

PHOENIX — The Arizona Attorney General’s Office unveiled Monday a web page for citizens to report election-related concerns.
The Election Integrity Unit web page includes an online election complaint form and other information on possible election-related violations.
“We must all work to preserve public confidence in the integrity of our elections by vigilantly defending ballot safeguards and common-sense voting laws,” Attorney General Mark Brnovich said in a press release.
“If anyone has reason to suspect voter fraud or manipulation of Arizona’s electoral process, we encourage the public to come forward and provide proof to our office.”
The EIU, which is comprised of civil and criminal attorneys and investigators, looks into and pursues possible election-related transgressions.
The EIU is currently handling about 20 active criminal and civil investigations.
In 2019, the Arizona Legislature re-appropriated funds from civil penalties accumulated by the attorney general’s office in order to form the EIU.
