PHOENIX — Despite the uncertain economic times, Tempe Marketplace will welcome three additional tenants to its shopping district.

Nutrishop, Fox in a Box Escape Room and Sephora are set to open their doors within the open-air shopping center, according to a press release.

“Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, Tempe Marketplace continues to grow and evolve,” Vestar Vice President of Leasing Taylor Alvey said in the release.

“Prospective tenants are taking notice, and expanding brands are selecting the center as the perfect spot for their next location.”

Nutrishop — a nutritional supplement retailer — is scheduled to open in August.

Fox in a Box Escape Room is set to open during the fall and will offer visitors the chance to escape simulated events such as imprisonment, nuclear war and being pursued by the Zodiac Killer.

The escape room will be located within the district’s east side near Harkins Theatres and Buckle.

Beauty retail giant Sephora isn’t scheduled to open until early next year and will be located near Bath & Body Works and Forever 21.

Recent additions to Tempe Marketplace included the multicultural barber shop TaylorMade Phades and Creations Boutique — a Tucson-based women’s clothing retailer specializing in bohemian-inspired looks.

We want to hear from you.

Interest rates may have peaked. Should you buy a CD, high-yield savings account, or a fixed annuity?

Interest rates are the highest they’ve been in decades, and it looks like the Fed has paused hikes. This may be the best time to lock in rates for long-term, low-risk financial products like fixed annuities.
