PHOENIX — Scottsdale police have arrested eight more suspects linked to the looting at Scottsdale Fashion Square last month.
That brings the total to 44 charged with crimes related to the violence that erupted at the mall on May 30.
The suspects, all Valley residents, were identified through video and physical evidence at the scene.
Of the eight arrested, three were minors.
A juvenile male was arrested for burglary and possession of stolen property, while two minors were charged with trafficking stolen property and theft.
Brittany Mantz, 27-year-old female, was arrested for trafficking stolen property.
Alex Benjamin Grangroth, 20, was arrested for rioting, burglary, and unlawful assembly.
Devion Gardner-Jones, 19, was arrested for trafficking stolen property, possession of stolen property and misconduct involving weapons.
Gardner-Jones was armed with a handgun at the time of his arrest and is a prohibited possessor on felony release from jail, according to authorities.
21-year-old Joshua Michael Bosch and 23-year-old Shavanta Dominique Winfree, both accomplices of Gardner-Jones, were also arrested for trafficking of stolen property. Stolen property was recovered during the investigation, police said.
Urban Outfitters, the Apple Store and Neiman Marcus were among the stores that sustained damage during the unrest the night of May 30.
The Fashion Square closed after the incident and didn’t reopen until June 10.
Sgt. Ben Hoster said in an email the department was still following up evidence and tips in the case “to bring those responsible for criminal acts to justice.”
