7-year-old Phoenix child found safe after reported missing

PHOENIX — A 7-year-old Phoenix child who went missing on Monday has been located and is safe with his family, according to the Phoenix Police Department.

Police asked the public for help to locate Amor Jay Williams at 6:21 p.m.; he was reported safe at 7:17 p.m.

Williams had gone missing around noon.

Amor Jay Williams had last been seen in the area of 15th Avenue and Mohave Street police said.

At the time he went missing, Williams was wearing a gray long sleeve shirt with blue sleeves and blue pajama pants.
