PHOENIX — Scottsdale police have arrested two more suspects linked to the looting at Scottsdale Fashion Square last month.

That brings the total to 36 charged with crimes related to the violence that erupted at the mall on May 30.

Both suspects were identified through video and physical evidence at the scene.

Detectives determined that Utah resident Tavin Ray Pemberton, 20, fired a handgun multiple times inside the mall.

Pemberton is being charged for discharging a firearm at a non-residential structure, burglary and rioting.

Valley resident Brayan Huiqui, 19, was the other suspect arrested.

Huiqui is being charged for burglary and rioting.

Urban Outfitters, the Apple Store and Neiman Marcus were among the stores that sustained damage during the unrest the night of May 30.

The Fashion Square closed after the incident and didn’t reopen until June 10.

Sgt. Ben Hoster said in an email the department was still following up evidence and tips in the case “to bring those responsible for criminal acts to justice.”

We want to hear from you.
