PHOENIX — Coronavirus cases have surged in Arizona since the state’s stay-at-home order aimed at slowing the spread of the virus expired in mid-May.

That has had an effect on several metro Phoenix restaurants, which have had to temporarily close their doors or alter their service again because of COVID-19 exposure or out of precaution.

Restaurants across the state were allowed to reopen their dining rooms on May 11.

Here is a list of Valley restaurants that are closed again because of coronavirus:

    • Zipps Sports Grill’s Arcadia location closed its dine-in service until further notice Sunday after an employee tested positive for coronavirus. The location will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. for to-go orders. Zipps said it removed all employees who were working there until they got coronavirus tests that were negative or were asymptomatic for at least 14 days.
    • Hash Kitchen in Arcadia announced Thursday that the restaurant would be closed indefinitely after an individual there tested positive for the virus. Hash Kitchen said it will remain closed until all employees receive a coronavirus test and management feels comfortable reopening the location.
    • The Porch in Arcadia said in a Facebook post Thursday that someone who was there as recently as June 7 had tested positive for coronavirus. The Porch will remain closed until at least all employees are administered COVID-19 tests.
    • Chelsea’s Kitchen in Arcadia announced Saturday that someone close to the restaurant tested positive for COVID-19, closing the dining room indefinitely. To-go and delivery services are still available.
    • Floridino’s Pizza and Pasta in Chandler closed Thursday after an employee tested positive for coronavirus. Floridino’s said Monday in a Facebook post that additional positive tests have been revealed, with the last exposure at the restaurant being June 10. The restaurant said it anticipates reopening for curbside pickup only in the next few days.
    • The Shop Beer Co. in Tempe announced June 8 that one of its employees tested positive for COVID-19. The company said it intended to reopen the following week, but no announcement has yet been made.
    • PHX Beer Co. said Saturday that someone who was at its Scottsdale location the previous weekend tested positive for the virus. The restaurant was scheduled to reopen Tuesday and that all employees would receive testing.
    • SanTan Brewing on Friday closed its Phoenix and Chandler pubs, and its Spirit House after two employees tested positive for COVID-19. The locations reopened Sunday for brunch at 40% occupancy.
    • Aioli Gourmet Burgers closed the dining room at its north Phoenix location Monday out of an abundance of caution. The burger joint said in a post that nobody in the company has tested positive for coronavirus. Dining on the outdoor patio area and to-go orders are still available for customers.
