PHOENIX — Several freeway restrictions spread across metro Phoenix will affect drivers this weekend, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

In the East Valley, the Loop 101 Price Freeway will be closed between Warner Road and the Loop 202 Santan Freeway from 8 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. on Monday for pavement improvements.

The U.S. 60 eastbound ramp to the Loop 101 southbound will also be closed from 8 p.m. Friday until 5 p.m. Saturday and again from 5 p.m. Sunday until 5 a.m. Monday for a widening project.

In the North Valley, a widening project will close the Loop 101 Pima Freeway between Pima and Hayden roads from 10 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday.

The on-ramp at Scottsdale Road and westbound off-ramp at 64th St. will also be closed on the Loop 101 for approximately 60 days beginning at 5 a.m. on Monday.

West of the Valley on the Loop 303 northbound, installation of an electronic traffic sign and traffic flow sensors will cause a closure between Bell Road and Grand Avenue from 10 p.m. Friday until noon on Saturday.

The Loop 303 will also be closed at Northern Parkway from 10 p.m. Saturday until noon on Sunday for the installation of traffic flow sensors.

In the North Valley, roadway repairs on the Interstate 17 northbound will close Union Hills Drive in both directions and the Union Hills Drive off ramp from 1 a.m. on Saturday until noon.

The I-17 southbound off ramp at Union Hills Drive will also be limited to right turns only during this time.

Further north on I-17, lanes will be narrowed in both directions between Pinnacle Peak and Happy Valley roads for interchange reconstruction from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday through Friday nights.

In west Phoenix, the Loop 202 northbound will be closed between Baseline and Lower Buckeye roads from 10 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday for rubberized asphalt paving.

On ramps and Elliot and Dobbins roads will also be closed during this time.

If the rubberized asphalt paving is completed ahead of schedule, the Loop 202 southbound will be closed between I-10 and Lower Buckeye Road from 1 a.m. Sunday until 5 a.m. Monday.

Further west, the I-10 will be narrowed to two lanes in both directions between Avondale Boulevard and Dysart Road for lane stripping from 8 p.m. Friday until 5 p.m. Sunday.

On and off ramp closures at the Avondale Boulevard and Dysart Road interchanges will also be closed from approximately 5 p.m. Saturday until 5 p.m. Sunday.
