3 people injured, 2 serious after south Phoenix shooting

PHOENIX — Phoenix Police are investigating a shooting that occurred early Saturday morning in south Phoenix that left three people injured with two suffering serious injuries.
Officers responded to the area of Southern Avenue and 24th Street just after 1 a.m. on Saturday and found a 33-year-old man and a 32-year-old man with gunshot wounds.
The two men were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
Another gunshot victim was later identified after a 19-year-old man walked into the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police say it appears there was an exchange of gunfire between a group of men hanging out and a white vehicle that pulled up and began shooting at them.
The motive is unknown at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
