I-10 closure in west Phoenix among this weekend’s freeway restrictions

PHOENIX — A closure on Interstate 10 in west Phoenix is among this weekend’s freeway restrictions, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
Eastbound I-10 will be closed between 67th and 51st avenues from 9 p.m. Friday to 10 p.m. Saturday for installation of traffic flow sensors.
The eastbound I-10 ramps at 83rd, 79th and 75th avenues will also be closed during that time.
In the East Valley, the southbound Loop 101 Price Freeway will be closed between US 60 and Warner Road from 8 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for pavement improvements.
Both US 60 ramps to southbound Loop 101 will be closed.
In the Ahwatukee area, the westbound Loop 202 South Mountain Freeway will be closed between I-10 and 24th Street from 10 p.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Monday for rubberized asphalt paving.

Both I-10 ramps to the South Mountain Freeway will be closed during that time.
Also, the eastbound South Mountain Freeway will be narrowed to two lanes between 40th Street and I-10 from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday for removal of a temporary barrier wall.

In the West Valley, the Loop 101 Agua Fria Freeway will be closed in both directions between I-10 and Thunderbird Road from 11 p.m. Saturday to 4 p.m. Sunday for application of pavement sealant.
In the North Valley, the westbound Loop 101 Agua Fria Freeway ramps at Tatum Boulevard will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for a freeway widening project.
Finally, the northbound Interstate 17 off-ramp at Yorkshire Drive/Utopia Road will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for pavement repair.
Yorkshire Drive/Utopia Road will also be closed in both directions at I-17 during that time.
