PHOENIX – The Arizona Restaurant Association has adapted the traditional restaurant weeks amidst the coronavirus outbreak.

Arizona Restaurant Weeks: Dine in or Take Out will take place June 19-28 and Sept. 18-27.

The Arizona Restaurant Association is expecting more than 200 Valley restaurants to get involved.

The two 10-day events encourage patrons to head to participating restaurants where they can dine on three-course, prix-fixe menus for just $33 or $44 per person.

The modified format will provide patrons with dine-in, take-out and liquor to-go options.

“We are hopeful that our wonderful community of food enthusiasts will continue to show their support in any way they feel comfortable,” Arizona Restaurant Association president and CEO Steve Chucri said in a press release.

A full list of participating restaurants will be listed on the event’s website.

While restaurants were closed amid the coronavirus, the association created Arizona Restaurant Strong, a relief fund for restaurant workers that found themselves out of work because of virus-related closures.

Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey announced last week that restaurants could begin resuming dine-in service on a limited basis on Monday.

We want to hear from you.
